MG Red Warning Lights - Power Battery Malfunction Red Warning Light
If this light illuminates, it indicates a serious fault in the traction battery system. Please stop the vehicle as soon as safety conditions permit, switch off the ignition, and contact an authorized MG service center immediately for repairs.
If this light flashes, it indicates a fault caused by an uncontrolled temperature rise ("thermal runaway") in the traction battery. Please stop the vehicle as soon as safety conditions permit, switch off the ignition (start switch), exit the vehicle immediately, and contact an authorized MG service center for repairs.
