Volkswagen Yellow Warning Lights - Lane Keeping System (Lane Assist) Is Regulating Warning Light
System controls (corrective steering intervention).
If no warning lamp lights up, the system is not ready to intervene (passive system status) or is switched off.
When the indicator is on, the system temporarily switches to passive mode to allow manual lane changes. The system will be switched to passive mode if the corrective steering intervention by the system is overridden by a strong steering movement by the driver.
